Job Description

Eastern Illinois University’s Health and Counseling Services – Medical Clinic is seeking candidates for the position of Nurse Practitioner. This position will work under general physician supervision to provide healthcare services and treatment to patients. This includes conducting health assessments which may include health, social, and family histories, performing physical examinations which may include ordering and evaluating diagnostic tests, and creating a healthcare plan based on the patient’s needs. Licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse – Nurse Practitioner is required for this position. This is a 10-month position.

Health and Counseling Services – Medical Clinic provides a full range of primary care services, with on-site laboratory, x-ray, pharmacy and health education services to EIU’s student population. Our primary focus is to enhance the ability of our students to participate fully in intellectual and personal growth opportunities afforded by the University.


Licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse – Nurse Practitioner is required for this position.


$4468/month minimum
