Job Description
This position assists the department Information Technology Technical Associate with diagnosis and repair of parking technology devices such as electronic parking meters, handheld citation devices and printers, automated license plate readers, and associated equipment. This position will also assist in generating reports from various parking software programs, fulfilling data requests, compiling historical parking data, and maintain procedure documentation

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
1. High School diploma or equivalent
2. Any one or combination totaling one (1) year (12 months) from the following categories:
A. College coursework which includes Information Technology (IT), IT Management, Programming, IT Systems, or a closely related discipline, as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent:
- 30 semester hours equals one (1) year (12 months)
- Associate’s degree (60 semester hours) equals eighteen months (18 months)
- 90 semester hours equals two (2) years (24 months)
- Bachelor’s Degree (120 semester hours) equals three (3) years (36 months)
B. Work experience in IT-related functions such as hardware/software support, programming, network design, network engineering, IT systems integration, or closely related field.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Work experience or education in Information Technology hardware and software troubleshooting similar to what would be gained in a help desk environment.
2. Work experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and basic Access.
3. Ability to analyze and design data reports.
4. Effective communication skills.
5. Customer service orientation.
6. Database knowledge.
7. Experience troubleshooting and making minor repairs to business equipment such as point of sale devices, printers, or other electronic or electro-mechanical devices.
8. Knowledge and understanding of university and department processes and procedures.
Salary
$23.00 to $25.00 per hour
