Promotional Line List

This listing shows the classes that are included in the current promotional lines that have been approved by the State Universities Civil Service System. Most promotional lines are general ones that may be used by any employer in the Civil Service System. There are some lines, however, that differ from the general patterns that have been approved for use at specific places of employment. These local lines are identified in the listings by the abbreviations of the places where they may be used that are shown at the top of the promotional lines.

The promotional lines are listed in numerical order on the following pages and show the titles and code numbers of the classes included in each line. The lowest level class is shown at the top of the list and the highest level class at the bottom.

Alternate class titles are indicated with a single asterisk, as in the Index of Classes.
