of the Secure Site
This website and the secure section (referred to as Secure Site) of the website
are developed and managed by the State Universities Civil Service System and is
made available on the following terms and conditions. Use of the Secure Site constitutes
your acceptance of these terms and conditions which take effect on the date which
you first use the Secure Site.
The State Universities Civil Service System reserves
the right to change these terms and conditions or any information on the Secure
Site at any time by posting changes online. You are responsible for regularly reviewing
information posted online to obtain timely notice of such changes. Your continued
use of the Secure Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of this
agreement as modified by the posted changes.
Security of Secure Site
Actual or attempted unauthorized use of the Secure Site may result in criminal and/or
civil prosecution. For your protection, the State Universities Civil Service System
reserves the right to view, monitor, and record activity on the Secure Site. Any
information obtained by monitoring, reviewing, or recording is subject to review
by law enforcement organizations in connection with investigation or prosecution
of possible criminal activity on the Secure Site. The State Universities Civil Service
System will also comply with all court orders involving requests for such information.
In addition, any user which the State Universities Civil Service System determines
to have violated any element of these Secure Site rules may be subject to discipline
up to and including discharge.
Except where otherwise indicated, all materials contained in the Secure Site are
the property of the State Universities Civil Service System. Permission is hereby
granted to use, copy and distribute these materials as presented on the Secure Site,
without alteration, for the furtherance of State Universities Civil Service System
purposes only.
Password Policy
Use of the Secure Site requires both a User ID and a Password. Each User ID and
corresponding Password can only be used by one individual or entity. Anyone with
knowledge of both a user's User ID and Password can gain access to the Secure Site
and the information that is available to the user. Accordingly, all User IDs and
Passwords must be kept confidential. By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions,
you agree to be solely responsible for the confidentiality and use of your respective
Password, as well as for any communications entered through the Secure Site or information/documents
received using the Password.
As a condition of use, you must immediately notify the State Universities Civil
Service System if you become aware of any loss or theft of your Password or any
unauthorized use of your Password. The State Universities Civil Service System reserves
the right to reset any Passwords that may have been compromised. We reserve the
right to deny access to the Secure Site to anyone who violates these rules or, in
our judgment, interferes with the ability of others to use the Secure Site, or infringes
the rights of others.
