Job Description

Under the general supervision of higher-level personnel, an employee at this level is responsible for the organization, security, and administration of examinations. The role of this individual includes proctoring exams, maintaining logs of test candidates, monitoring test score loads, maintaining test scores in the University's student information system, and ensuring the University's adherence to outside vendor contracts. The employee assists University staff and students with inquiries and problems related to examinations and/or Testing Services. The employee assists with the maintenance of students' academic records including record review and correction, updates to enrollment records, and student program/plan/degree updates.


Qualifications

1. High school graduation or equivalent.

2. Any one or any combination of the following types of preparation as approved by Human Resources:
(a) One hundred twenty (120) semester hours of credit for college course work in any curriculum;

OR

(b) Three (3) years progressively more advanced work experience and/or on-the-job training in the administration of aptitude, achievement, and other educational measurements at the high school or college level.

3. Any one or combination of the following:

(a) Six (6) semester hours of college credit in fields related to educational testing (such as educational measurement, tests and measurement, or psychological testing);

OR

(b) Six (6) months of responsible work experience and/or on-the-job training in test administration methods and techniques.

4. If this position is Security Sensitive or if you are subject to a criminal background investigation based on University policy, employment is contingent upon you passing a satisfactory criminal background investigation. You may not begin work until the criminal background investigation results have been received and cleared by Human Resources.


Salary

14.25 - 15.03 hour
