Job Description
The Office Manager of the Cecilia J. Lauby Teacher Education Center helps track and organize the activities of the center per the Associate Director’s and Director’s guidance. Duties include, but are not limited to, secretarial duties, ordering center supplies, communicating center needs to offices around campus, completing student database updates, processing tuition waivers, issuing professional development forms, helping train new office staff, and communicating with school districts as needed.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
High school graduation or equivalent.
Two (2) years (24 months) of work experience comparable to the third level of this series. This work includes performing a wide variety of office support tasks, which require the use of judgment and initiative and the ability to operate computer systems, using word processing, database and software packages. Knowledge of the organization, programs, practices and procedures of a department/unit is central to the performance of the duties.

Basic Windows application knowledge
Student database system experience
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Knowledge and understanding of Higher Education policies and procedures
Prior purchasing and budgetary experience
Ability to successfully work with confidential information
Ability to organize, analyze, and interpret significant amounts of data
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at the department and university level
Demonstrates ability to support a diverse and welcoming environment
Salary
$17.35 - $18.00 per hour
