Job Description
The purpose of the position of Office Manager for University College Academic Advisement is to work closely with the University College Academic Advisement Leadership Team to provide administrative support services for University College Academic Advisement. The Office Manager provides administrative support for the operations of University College Academic Advisement and its staff. The Office Manager works closely with multiple constituencies within University College and across campus in achieving these objectives.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
1. High school graduation or equivalent.
2. Two (2) years (24 months) of work experience comparable to the third level of this series. This includes work such as performing a wide variety of office support tasks, which require the use of judgment and initiative and the ability to operate computer systems, using word processing, database and software packages. Knowledge of the organization, programs, practices and procedures of the unit is central to the performance of the duties.

1. Discretion is vital as the positions handles confidential information including budget details and student records.
2. Ability to interact effectively with students, staff, parents, faculty, and the community.
3. Demonstrated ability to multi-task and produce quality work under deadlines; organizational skills; flexibility in a changing administrative model.
4. Demonstrated working knowledge of basic office software (word processing, e-mail systems, spreadsheets, mainframes, databases, etc.)
5. Ability to work independently and without supervision, but also effectively contribute to a team with a learner-centered and service-oriented philosophy.
Salary
$17.35 - $18.00/hour
