Job Description
The Budget Manager maintains accurate accounting for the School of Theatre, Dance, and Film and the Illinois Shakespeare Festival. Account types include multiple General Revenue, Income/Agency, and Foundation Accounts. This position works closely with the School Director and Production Manager on School budget matters and with the Illinois Shakespeare Festival Management Team (School Director, Artistic Director, Managing Director, and Production Manager) on ISF budgets.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management or a related field conferred prior to start date
Two years (24 months) of professional business, financial, and/or managerial work experience
Note: A master’s degree in a related field may be substituted for one year (12 months) of work experience
Demonstrated mastery of computer software including databases, spreadsheets, word processing, and accounting software applications
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, delegate, and supervise work in a calm and efficient manner
Strong interpersonal skills to interact with colleagues, company members, patrons, donors, and other customers in a professional manner
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Datatel, Agresso, Budget Center, Payment Net, and the financial operations of Illinois State University
Ability to work without supervision, make administrative and budgetary decisions, and maintain confidentiality
Salary
$45,000 - $51,000 annual, combined with an excellent benefit package
