Job Description

The person in this position oversees day-to-day operation of the department office, provides clerical support to faculty and administrative staff, and acts as a receptionist and front line customer service for students, parents, FCS faculty and staff and the ISU community.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications
1. High school graduation or equivalent.

2. Two (2) years (24 months) of work experience comparable to the third level of this series. This work includes performing a wide variety of office support tasks, which require the use of judgment and initiative and the ability to operate computer systems, using word processing, database, and software packages.

Preferred Qualifications
1. Basic knowledge of office practices and procedures
2. The ability to keyboard accurately
3. The ability to operate standard office equipment and software packages
4. A working knowledge of spelling, grammar, punctuation, and sentence and paragraph structure
5. Good oral and written communications skills


Salary

$18.50-$19.15/hour
