Job Description
This position administers the Federal Pell and SEOG Grant, TEACH Grant Programs and other federal grant programs, approximately $25,000,000 in federal funds. Job responsibilities also include administration of over $35,000,000 in state aid, private, and foundation programs. Administration includes monitoring available funds, reviewing student eligibility, reviewing/working reports, processing awards, processing payments and completing monthly and annual reconciliation of programs.
This position works with very little supervision and must maintain knowledge of federal, state and institutional policies to ensure compliance in administration of aid programs.
This position is also responsible for processing financial aid calculations and adjustments related to unofficial withdrawals from the institution and counseling students on aid adjustments.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
1. Bachelor's or equivalent degree in business administration, management, accounting or a field related to the position.
2. A minimum of two (2) years of full time (or part-time equivalent) experience in financial aid. Experience must include specialized knowledge of regulations and restrictions governing federal and state aid programs. Knowledge of need analysis and Return of Title IV funds.
3. Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills.
4. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
5. Demonstrated Math aptitude.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.
2. Strong administrative abilities.
Salary
$3,658 - $4,246/month
