    Responsible for the general internal office human resource function for the University System employees.

Job Description

Governors State University is seeking to hire a Coordinator of Student Clubs and Organizations to work under the general direction of the Director, to provide assistance in developing and leading recognized student clubs and organizations. This position will be responsible for the oversight and management of student clubs and organizations and the planning and implementation of activities and programs to provide a holistic and engaging experience for Governors State University students. The coordinator works to ensure exemplary implementation of programming as well as supports daily operations within the Center for Student Engagement and Intercultural Programs while transforming student lives through leadership education. The coordinator will also be responsible for the planning and execution of student organization trainings, requisitioning, workshops, resource fairs and annual Student Leadership Awards.

Qualifications

•Bachelor's degree in higher education/student affairs, business, finance, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
•One plus (1+) years' experience in student affairs and/or student activities in higher education.
•Previous experience with software-based organization management systems.
•Willingness to work night/weekend events.

Note: Master's Degree in an area consistent with the position's duties may be substituted for one (1) year of work experience.

Salary

$48,652.50
