Perform routine technical duties in troubleshooting and repairing building automation systems.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
1. Any one or any combination totaling two (2) years (24 months) from the following categories:
A. course work in building automation systems, electrical engineering, HVAC technology or a closely related field, as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent:
-30 semester hours equals one (1) year (12 months)
-Associate’s Degree (60 semester hours) equals eighteen months (18 months)
-90 semester hours equals two (2) years (24 months)
-Bachelor’s Degree (120 semester hours) equals three (3) years (36 months)
B. work experience involving maintenance of a building automation system.
2. Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Trade School, University or factory training.
2. Ability to work with a wide variety of University personnel.
3. Ability to organize and plan.
4. Ability to resolve problems and follow-up with outcome.
5. One (1) year of experience working on Siemens Desigo or Johnson Controls Metasys or Andover Continuum building automation system including installation of new equipment.
Salary
$41.97 per hour
