Job Description
Governors State University is seeking to hire an Assistant Director for Research Development and Compliance to provide leadership and strategic support for the University’s research development goals and ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations, and university policies in areas of human subjects' research, animal care and use, and time and effort reporting. The Assistant Director for Research Development and Compliance will lead the efforts to advance faculty and student research initiatives and provide regulatory and administrative support to the University’s Institutional Review Board (IRB) and Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC).
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, health sciences, education, business, or a field related to the position, reflective of human subjects’ research.
Three years of professional-level work experience in managerial and/or business experience, including 4 years in a human subject’s research-related position. (SPECIALITY FACTOR)
Experience at a leadership level in interpretation and implementation of Code of Federal Regulations - CFR 45 and 36.
Salary
$73,632.00 - $84,676.80
