Job Description
The Business Administrative Associate provides comprehensive administrative support to the Career Services Director and leadership team, ensuring smooth daily operations and effective coordination across the department. This role oversees a wide range of operational functions, including front desk management, staffing, and service delivery. Responsibilities include hiring, training, evaluating, and supervising front desk personnel to maintain a high-quality, student-centered reception experience. The position also manages key departmental processes, maintains essential manuals, documents, and shared resources, and supports ongoing improvements to organizational efficiency. Through proactive communication, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail, the Business Administrative Associate contributes to a well-functioning, collaborative, and service-oriented department environment.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business administration, management, or a field related to the position.
2. Two (2) years (24 months) of full-time or part-time equivalent professional business, financial, and/or managerial work experience, with supervisory responsibilities performed as part of that experience.

2. Ability to gain a thorough knowledge and understanding of university policies and procedures.
3. Ability to perform work with diplomacy, accuracy, and thoroughness, and the ability to see the big picture.
4. Excellent time management and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize numerous projects with different deadlines.
5. Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as the ability to work independently, take initiative, exercise good judgment
6. Ability to exercise a high degree of confidentiality, professionalism, dependability, and accuracy.
Salary
$21.00 - $22.70 per hour
